Aavesham

Aavesham is 2024 Jithu Madhavan movie. The director is famous for 'Romancham", which was released in the year 2023. The movie introduces three new faces. All of them are chosen from social media by the director himself. The movie is started by Fahad Fasail. It is produced by Anwar Rasheed Entertainments, Fahad Faasil and Friends and Nazriya Nazim.

Aavesham: The movie.

The movie is set in the city of Banglore. It begins when three boys take admission in a college and then decides to stay in a hostel nearby instead of the College hostel. The college is known for ragging and there is a certain gang who pushes it hard to make it impossible. The movie shows how youngsters make mistakes and their rage during their late teens. There they end up meeting "Ranga", who is played by Fahad Faasil.

The movie is packed with action and humour. It has a lot of funny scenes to laugh over and again. However, the movie shows keen resemblance with the director's previous movie "Romancham".

The role of supporting actors in the movie is commendable as their timing and expressions will make you sit on that couch for the entire time.

The songs

The songs in this movie is trending in YouTube and it really kicks in. Sushin Shyam is the music composer and Vinayak Sasikumar, MC Couper and Hanumankind are the lyricists. Sreenath Bhasi, Dabzee, Nazriya Nazeem, MC Couper, Malayali Monkeys, Vipin Raveendran, Munz, Pranavam Sasi, Paul Dabba, Sushin Shyam and Hanumankind are the singers.

The song "Illuminati" and "Jaada" were the trending songs with peculiar catchy phrases.

The songs were released strategically and it  worked on public really well.

The Action

The movie has lot of action scenes an seqences. Some fights are just crazy and your inner college kid would wake up to cheer them up. Actors with action scenes have used different techniques to deliver fight. This is also one of the attractions of the movie.

The Emotion

Although the movie is filled with lots of action and coy, there are certain moments when the viewer can get emotional. Although there is not a lot of flashbacks scenes, some of it might well you up. This gives a logic to the movie and would make the audience strangely connect somehow.

My Opinion

When I watched the movie, I did not know it was directed by Jithu Madhavan. Irrespective of that knowledge, I found an obvious resemblance to the movie "Romancham". Especially when the main characters get drunk and puke. I wonder why Jithu Madhavan is obsessed with drunk people puking. May be it is to show that how immaturely a youngster can get drunk and how can it end up.

The movie is sure an entertainment for audience irrespective of their age. The casting also seems good and believable.

I would definitely encourage people to watch it in big screen, whether in theatres or if you are rich enough in your big bedroom.

The movie is available in Amazon Prime (exclusively) and not as a rent option, but with subscription.
